Yvette is a proud Arrernte woman from Mparntwe/Alice Springs with two decades of experience across housing, homelessness and human services in the Northern Territory and New South Wales. Her career spans senior government roles and executive consulting work focused on housing and homelessness reform, sector growth and strengthening the Aboriginal community-controlled sector.
Yvette has extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations and has played a significant role in shaping housing policy and sector reform in the Northern Territory. Her work has included leading the development of major housing and homelessness strategies in the Northern Territory, including initiatives that supported the growth of the NT community housing sector.
Before commencing at Yilli, Yvette worked with Nous Group, where she led the development of the NT Homelessness Strategy and strategic work to guide the transition of housing management to Aboriginal community control across the Northern Territory.
