Australian Homelessness Conference 2025

The Australian Homelessness Conference is Australia’s largest homelessness conference, bringing together all sectors addressing homelessness in Australia to share new ideas, best practices, and opportunities for system reform.

The program is shaped by sector leaders and features the latest research, leading policy ideas, and best practice examples of homelessness service provision in Australia and internationally.

The Australian Homelessness Conference will be held in Darwin October 2026.

AHURI plays a key role in bringing together multiple perspectives to address the issues that affect Australia’s  homelessness sectors. Through our abstract process (now closed) and with the support of our Program Advisory Committees, we work to  ensure the program content is diverse and homelessness sector led.

AHURI actively encourages Consumer and Lived Experience (CLE) participation in our events. This includes ensuring people with Lived Experience serve on our program committees;  actively seeking sponsorship funding to deliver our supported delegate program; and a concession registration offering for people contributing their lived experience within the sector.
