The Australian Homelessness Conference is Australia’s largest homelessness conference, bringing together all sectors addressing homelessness in Australia to share new ideas, best practices, and opportunities for system reform.

The program is shaped by sector leaders and features the latest research, leading policy ideas, and best practice examples of homelessness service provision in Australia and internationally.

The Australian Homelessness Conference will be held in Darwin, 7 to 8 October 2026.

AHURI plays a key role in bringing together multiple perspectives to address the issues that affect Australia’s homelessness sectors. Through our abstract process (opening eary December 2025) and with the support of our program advisory committee and working groups, we work to ensure the program content is diverse and homelessness sector led.
