Executive Officer, Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies NT (AADANT)

Stephanie Holmes is the Executive Officer of the Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies NT (AADANT), the peak body representing alcohol and other drug treatment and support services across the Northern Territory.

Stephanie leads AADANT's policy advocacy, workforce development and member support, working alongside member organisations delivering AOD services from across the Territory, from Darwin to remote communities in the Top End, Big Rivers, Barkly and Central Australia regions.

A strong advocate for evidence-based, health-focused responses to alcohol and other drug issues, Stephanie brings a deep understanding of what it means to do this work in the NT context, where place, culture and community are not background considerations but the foundation of everything we do. She is committed to centring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and perspectives in policy, practice and sector development.

Stephanie's work is grounded in relationships with members, with government, and with the communities that NT services work in and call home. She believes that meaningful change happens when we are present, connected and accountable to community.
