Dr Stella Settumba Stolk is a senior public health, health economics and policy specialist with more than 15 years’ experience. She is currently a Senior Research and Policy Fellow at the Community Restorative Centre and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the UNSW National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre. She completed her PhD at UNSW in 2020, examining societal preferences for treatment programs for people convicted of violent offences.
Her current work focuses on research and advocacy for people in contact with the justice system, health systems strengthening, improving health outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse communities, alcohol and other drug policy, and the use of research and data to inform equitable policy and service delivery. Stella has led and contributed to research, monitoring and evaluation, and policy initiatives with governments, NGOs and community organisations across Australia and internationally.
