Rental Taskforce Manager, NSW Fair Trading

Sharon Collinge is the Rental Taskforce Manager within the Rental Branch at NSW Fair Trading, where she leads compliance and enforcement activities aimed at improving fairness, safety and accountability in the NSW rental market. She joined the Rental Branch in NSW Fair Trading in January 2025 and is responsible for overseeing investigations, regulatory interventions and proactive compliance programs addressing unlawful terminations, illegal lockouts, rental home standards and other significant tenancy issues. 

Prior to joining NSW Fair Trading, Sharon spent more than 12 years in senior leadership roles within the community housing sector. Sharon previously served as Regional Manager at Bridge Housing, leading operational teams managing more than 1,500 tenancies and delivering programs supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing disadvantage. Sharon is recognised for her expertise in housing, regulatory compliance, service delivery and leading high-performing teams in complex and highly regulated environments.
