Natalie Bogoias is the Manager of HHC’s Street Health Team and a Registered Nurse with a background in critical care nursing. Over the past eight years, she has helped establish and grow HHC’s Street Health Program into a multidisciplinary outreach service operating across Perth CBD, Fremantle, Rockingham/Kwinana, Wanneroo and Victoria Park/Belmont, including a dedicated Youth Street Health Team.
Natalie’s frontline work, particularly with pregnant women experiencing homelessness, informed the research of Professor Lisa Wood at the The University of Notre Dame, contributing to work that continues to influence improvements in the health and wellbeing of vulnerable women and babies.
In 2024, Natalie was recognised as the Primary Healthcare Nurse of the Year at the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards. She has also co-authored a peer-reviewed article with Professor Lisa Wood and Dr Jocelyn Tan for Council to Homeless Persons’ Parity Magazine titled Accessing Antenatal Care When You Are Homeless: Barriers and Enablers.
