Maria Woods

Director of Services, Plus Community

Maria Woods is an experienced executive leader with more than 30 years’ experience across health and community services in regional New South Wales. As Director of Services at Plus Community, she provides strategic oversight of Domestic and Family Violence and Community Services, including homelessness, tenancy, and housing support programs, leading the delivery of innovative, client centred services.

Throughout her career, Maria has led major service redesigns, integrated crisis responses, and contributed to statewide policy initiatives. She is widely recognised for fostering strong community engagement, sector collaboration, and evidence informed practice to advocate for systemic change. Her leadership is grounded in ensuring that the voices, safety, and lived experience of clients remain central to the work undertaken by her teams.
