Kristie Burge is a proud Noongar Yorga from Western Australia, living and working on Wiradjuri Country in Dubbo. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Bunmabunmarra Services, an Aboriginal-led organisation delivering culturally safe responses across housing, homelessness, domestic and family violence, justice, healing, and family support. Kristie holds a Bachelor of Social Work, Graduate Certificate in Health Management, and Master of Health Services Management. With experience across child protection, justice, allied health, mining, logistics, and community services, Kristie brings strong leadership, cultural knowledge, operational skill, and strategic vision. She is deeply passionate about housing and homelessness, particularly creating safe, culturally responsive accommodation pathways for Aboriginal people, families, women, men, and children. Her work is grounded in self-determination, advocacy, accountability, and practical community-led solutions. Kristie is committed to reducing Aboriginal incarceration, preventing children entering care, strengthening healing pathways, and supporting people to rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and voice.
