Katie Maiolo is the Health and Homelessness Program Director at the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH) in South Australia, where she leads statewide work focused on homelessness, health system integration and coordinated responses for people experiencing complex vulnerability. Katie works across health, housing, community services and government to strengthen partnerships, reduce system fragmentation and improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
She also holds a national leadership role with the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) and the Australian Health, Housing and Homelessness Network (A3HN), supporting collaboration and innovation across health, housing and homelessness sectors nationally.
Katie’s work focuses on creating practical pathways for integration across complex systems, with a strong emphasis on partnership-based reform, cross-sector collaboration, and improving.
