Dr Bengianni Halil-Pizzirani

Dr Halil-Pizzirani is a social psychologist whose career bridges rigorous research, system reform and practical innovation in complex human service settings. As Managing Director of the Impact Initiative, he designs and leads applied research and evaluation projects across child and family services, homelessness, youth justice and early intervention, with a focus on turning evidence into clearer decisions, stronger practice and more useful service systems. 

He is also Co-Founder of synk.ai, an emerging technology platform using adaptive AI simulations to help frontline workers practise complex conversations in safe, realistic environments before they occur with people experiencing vulnerability. His work spans outcome measurement, workforce capability, implementation and digital innovation, and is grounded in a simple test: whether data and technology can be used safely, ethically and practically to strengthen the judgement, confidence and capability of the people doing the work.
