Chief Executive Officer, NT Shelter

Annie Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer of NT Shelter, the peak body for social and affordable housing and homelessness in the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin, Annie works across government, the housing and homelessness sectors and national advocacy networks to drive systemic change and strengthen housing outcomes for Territorians. She has more than a decade of experience working across the not-for-profit and community sectors in communications, policy, stakeholder engagement and strategic leadership roles. Annie also serves as Treasurer of National Shelter, contributing to national housing policy and reform discussions. Her work focuses on the intersection of housing, homelessness, community wellbeing and economic participation, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, prevention and long-term systems change. Annie is a passionate advocate for practical, evidence-based solutions that improve housing access, affordability and social outcomes.
