Managing Director, Noongar Mia Mia

Tina is a proud Noongar Yorga (Woman) from Ballardong with strong Wadjuk connections in Perth, Western Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aboriginal Community Management & Development from Curtin University, WA. With over three decades of experience in the Indigenous housing sector.
Tina is deeply passionate about making a lasting difference for Aboriginal communities. Tina served as a Board member of Noongar Mia Mia from 2015 to 2017 and was appointed Managing Director in 2018. 
Tina is a Director of the National Aboriginal Islander Housing Association (NATSIHA), the first National peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing in Australia. She is also actively involved in various working groups and advisory bodies, including the WA Alliance to End Homelessness and Homelessness Australia. 
Tina's most recent appointment to the Housing First Homelessness Advisory Group with the Department of Communities showcases her leadership and influence in driving systemic reform. Her contributions are central to advancing the implementation of "All Paths Lead to a Home: WA’s 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness." Tina’s leadership reflects her unwavering commitment to building a future where Aboriginal voices are not only heard but prioritized, ensuring that culturally appropriate, sustainable housing solutions are available for all Aboriginal people.
