Anita McCurdy

Senior Manager of Open Dialogue and Youth Foyer, Berry Street

Anita (she/her) is the Senior manager of Berry Street’s Education First Youth Foyer in Shepparton and recently appointed project manager for Open Dialogue, with over a couple decades of experience supporting programs for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Together, alongside multiple youth services in Shepparton, the ‘Goulburn Region Open Dialogue Connect’ have partnered with the Open Dialogue Centre to shift the systemic response to mental health and other challenges effecting young people locally, placing young people at the centre of their own care and empowering their social networks to support them. From crisis to community – from isolation to connection.
