Lived Experience Adviser, Women's Housing Alliance

Bron Firman (she/her) is a strong believer in the importance of community development and advocacy and the necessity of listening to lived experience to bring about change.

She has lived experience of homelessness, as well as having completed a Diploma of Community Service, and completing placement in a housing service, and saw first hand the issues that can arise in these settings.

She is a victim survivor of FDV, a carer and single parent who has a deep understanding of how barriers can seem insurmountable, and how the right supports, both from family and friends, and agencies, can make all the difference.
